Ronan Pensec Travel has been appointed by (Etape du Tour organization) ASO as an official agent for the Etape du Tour. With Ronan Pensec yearlong experience of the Tour de France, we have an added advantage that allows us to provide you with the best program.
With this program, we offer you to spend 10 days and 9 nights in a charming 3* hotels in the Alps, the Provence and the Pyrenees. All hotels/residences have been booked on half board (room, breakfast and dinner including wine and water).
Our staff will pick you (and your bike) up at the airport in Geneva on July 6th and will be with you throughout your entire stay with us. Should you prefer to travel light and have your bike transferred from the UK directly to your hotel, we can arrange for it as well. Just ask us! On July 15th, our bus will take you back to the airport in Toulouse.
From hotel choices, to transport, to luggage transfers, our planning and logistics will ensure that you will be able to concentrate on your own enjoyment.
Your Etape will be a richly rewarding experience as you will not only challenge yourself, but you will meet and share this unique event with hundreds of other cyclists. During this stay, you will climb some of the most legendary cols of the Alps and the Pyrenees as well as the Giant of Provence: the Mont Ventoux.
- ACT I: At the start, our hotel is located in the town of La Léchère (23 km - 14.3 miles from Albertville), while at the finish, you will be accommodated in a 4* residence in La Toussuire with pool, sauna, hammam...
- Between the two Acts: you will be staying in the Provence, in a charming hotel 3* hotel close to the Mont Ventoux.
- ACT II: You will be staying 2 nights in Pau and 1 night in Bagnères de Luchon in 3* hotels. You will be one of the few privileged ones who will be able to ride from the finish line to your hotel. While the other competitors wait for their transfer back, you will be able to take it easy/cool down!
- The airport shuttle (on day 1 and day 10) from Geneva airport and to Toulouse airport as well as the transfer of your personal items during your entire stay with us.
ACT I:
Twenty years after Winter Olympics, Albertville gives the departure of an alpine stage with a dense program, and drawn on a reduced format. On 140 kilometers, the riders will pass the Col de la Madeleine, the Col de la Croix de Fer and the Col du Mollard before attacking on the way up towards the resort of Toussuire. ACT II:
This will be the starting point of a 200-km-long stage right in the heart of the Pyrenees, with giant mountains where the history of cycling and of the Tour de France has been written.
The road to Luchon will offer no respite: Aubisque, Tourmalet, Aspin and Peyresourde!
